1. Q: What is your term of delivery?
     A: We usually take EXW or FOB. But we will consider other term for special case.

About Fingerprint Lock and Keypad Lock
 
1. Q: How many users can it store?
     A: Generally 78 code users and 75 fingerprint users, but some items will be different.
 
2.Q: What is the lift time of the fingerprint lock/ keypad lock?
    A: Generally more than 10 years.
 
3. Q: If I failed to open the door with code and fingerprint, what to do?
    A: You can keep the override key in your bag, car or office and use it in case of this situation.
 
4.Q: If the lock has no power, what to do?
   A: Some items have 9v external battery function, you can use 9v external battery. Or you    can use override key.
 
5. Q: What is the life time of the battery?
     A: About one year but depends on the battery capacity.
 
6.Q: If the lock no power for some time, whether it will affect the record inside and the registered user?
   A: If will not affect the record and registered user. But for those locks with audit trail function, it will affect the time.
 
7. Q: When I open the lock with mechanical key, will the lock have opening record?
    A: No, the lock with only have opening record for the unlocking way by fingerprint or code.
 
8. Q: What types of latch or mortise do you have?
     A: We have single latch, Two-Latch, Four-Latch, Five-Latch(ANSI, Euro)
 
9. Q: What is the door thickness requirement of your lock?
     A: Different latch or mortise will have different requirement. Please see our website “How to Choose”.
 
10. Q: What is the hole diameter of the single latch lock?
       A: It is 54mm.
 
11. Q: What is the backset of your lock?
       A: Different latch or mortise will have different backset. We have three types: 60mm, 70mm, and 62mm.
 
12. Q: Place the finger on the scanner, and the red light is on with three beeps, and fails to open the lock, what is the reason?
      A: The fingerprint might not be enrolled, or the fingerprint might be deleted. Please enroll the fingerprint again.
 
13. Q: When opening the lock with a valid fingerprint, red light is on with three short beeps, and fails to open the lock, what is the reason?
       A: The fingerprint is placed incorrectly or damaged. Try to place it correctly, if failed, enroll the fingerprint with another finger.
 
14. Q: Four very short beeps sound when opening the lock, what happen?
       A: This is the indication of low battery, please change batteries.
 
15. Q: No response when pressing the buttons, what happen?
       A: No power, please change batteries.
 
16. Q: Often fail to verify the fingerprint, what happen?
       A: It may be because the finger is too dry, or wet or dirty, or the scanner is too dirty. Please clean it.
 
17. Q: Fail to enter enrollment or deletion mode, what happen?
       A: The master code is wrong or the operation is wrong. Please use correct master code and check whether the operation procedure is correct. If forgetting the master code, please reset the lock.
 
18. Q: If my override key is lost, can I change the cylinder?
       A: Yes, you can. For Schlage cylinder, you can buy the cylinders in your local place and freely change the cylinder. For our other cylinders, you need use our cylinders and other need special tools.
 
19. Q: When I place correct fingerprint or input correct code, the green light is on with one beep, why the handle is still free handle and can not open the lock?
       A: The power is not strong enough, please change battery. The clutch spring may be not placed well, please open the front cover and placed it upright. At the same time, check the transmission parts whether they are exhausted. If yes, replace the broken parts.
 
20. Q: When I pull up the sliding cover or press any key, the lock is open, why?
       A: The lock is under Passage Mode, please disable this mode.
 
21. Q: I no need use fingerprint or code or key, and turn the handle, it can open the lock, why?
       A: The clutch spring is broken, and the spindle is always connected , please change it. Or if it is Schlage cylinder, you have set the lock in passage mode by override key, please use override key to lock it.
 
22. Q: Can I change the handle direction by myself?
       A: For some items, you can freely change handle direction without tools; For the others, you need special tools to change handle direction.
About Hotel Lock
1. Q: How many guest cards can be set for a lock?
     A: No limit.
 
2. Q: What is the life time of the hotel lock?
    A: Generally more than 10 years.
 
3. Q: If I failed to open the lock with cards, what to do?
     A: You can use the override key to open it.
 
4. Q: What is the life time of the battery?
     A: About one year but depends on the battery capacity.
 
5. Q: How many opening records can the hotel lock store?
     A: It can store the latest 250 opening records.
 
6. Q: What is the life time of the cards?
     A: Magnetic cards 200 times; IC cards 100,000 times; RF cards no limit.
 
7. Q: When I swipe correct card, the green light is on with one beep, why the handle is stil l free handle and can not open the lock?
     A: The power is not strong enough, please change battery. The clutch spring may be not placed well, please open the front cover and placed it upright. At the same time, check the transmission parts whether they are exhausted. If yes, replace the broken parts.
 
8. Q: The guest card’s valid time is passed, but it still can open the lock, why?
     A: The lock time is incorrect. Please issue a new time card and swipe the lock.
 
9. Q: The encoder is connected with the computer, but the software can not detect the encoder or fail to issue card. Why?
     A: The port number of the encoder on computer device is different from the port number on software setting. Please enter software level B> system setting to set the correct port number.
 
10. Q: I don’t swipe the card and only turn the handle, it can open, why?
        A: The clutch spring is broken, and the spindle is always connected , please change it. Or if it is Schlage cylinder, you have set the lock in passage mode by override key, please use override key to lock it.
 
11. Q: I swipe the card, and the lock has no response, why?
       A: Please check whether it has power? The power wire is connected well? Or the battery case has some corrosive liquid? If all are normal, then the PCB should have problem.
 
12. Q: When swiping the reset card, the red light on, why?
       A: It may be because: 1. The reset card is broken, then issue a new one; 2. This reset card is not for this hotel. You can press the reset button on the front plate to reset the lock.
 
13. Q: After the software is installed well, how to keep it safe?
       A: Firstly, keep the special card safe and never lost it.
     Secondly, save the backup file of the database on other disk in time.
 
14. Q: The valid guest card can not open the lock, how to do?
       A: Check card on software whether it is a valid and correct card for this lock. In normal case, swipe the reset card, correct setting card, new time card on the lock again, if all show green light, the guest card can open the lock.
 
15. Q: What is the usage of the special card?
       A: After the software is installed, need use special card to activate the software, and add or edit the operator name and password.
 
16. Q: What is the usage of the reset card?
       A: It is the password card of the hotel. It is used to input and check the password of the hotel. When a lock has problem, you should firstly swipe reset card.
 
17. Q: After a period of using, the software window requires the authority code, what to do?
       A: Please tell us the special card number and we will check the authority code for you. Please input the authority code when it requires. Or you can use the emergency authority code 2222 or 3333 for a lasting period of 7 or 30 days separately.
 
18. Q: Can the software integrated with other PMS?
       A: Yes, we have ready Opera interface and also possibly integrated with other PMS.
